Hyderabad: In a historic turn of events, Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee President, Revanth Reddy, emerges as the new Chief Minister after successfully leading the party to victory in the recently concluded assembly elections. The Congress party secured 65 seats out of the total 119 in the state assembly, marking a significant mandate.

In a decisive move, the newly elected Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) passed a resolution just a day ago, entrusting the responsibility of electing the new Congress Legislative Party (CLP) leader to the party’s high command. In response, the party has unequivocally chosen Revanth Reddy for the esteemed position of Chief Minister. The official date for his swearing-in ceremony is yet to be announced.
